BIOSAFETY PASS BOX

The airtight biosafety pass box is primarily designed for BSL-3, BSL-4, ABSL-3 and ABSL-4 laboratories requiring airtight containment. Both doors use mechanical seals and inflatable gaskets to maintain airtightness along the material transfer route. Elastic and inflatable seals are fitted to the doors; a compression mechanism creates a double seal between each door leaf and its frame.

A VHP connection enables biodecontamination of materials inside the chamber, reducing contamination during transfer.

FEATURES

• Mechanical assemblies and rubber components withstand ambient temperatures from −40 to +50 °C.

• Structural pressure resistance: ≥ 2,500 Pa.

• Airtight at −500 Pa; leak rate below 0.5% of chamber volume per hour.

• Self-cleaning: the recirculation fan achieves Grade A conditions inside the chamber.

• VHP biodecontamination of the chamber and contents; decontamination efficacy can be validated.

• High-quality stainless steel resists disinfectants, detergents, acids and alkalis.
