 FFU (Fan Filter Units) is more precisely a self-powered, modular terminal air supply device with filtration capabilities. A fan draws air in from the top of the FFU, filters it through a HEPA filter, and then delivers the filtered clean air evenly across the entire outlet surface at a velocity of 0.45 m/s ± 20%. FFUs can be modularly connected, making them widely applicable in cleanrooms, clean benches, clean production lines, modular cleanrooms, and localized Class 100 cleanrooms.

Product Overview&Type:

FFU (Fan Filter Unit) is a self-powered, modular terminal air supply device with filtration capabilities.

The fan draws air in from the top of the FFU, filters it through a HEPA filter, and then delivers the filtered clean air evenly across the entire outlet surface at a velocity of 0.45m/s ± 20%. FFUs can be modularly connected, making them widely applicable in cleanrooms, clean benches, clean production lines, modular cleanrooms, and localized Class 100 cleanrooms.

Our FFUs are available in AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) versions, and in terms of enclosure material, including cold-rolled steel plate with powder coating, aluminized zinc plate, 201/304 stainless steel, and aerospace-grade aluminum plate. They feature modular centralized group control management using a computer control system, allowing for centralized start/stop, speed adjustment, and timing of FFUs distributed across different workshop floors, facilitating operation and saving resources.

Main Structural Components:

* Enclosure: Typically made of stainless steel, galvanized sheet, aluminum-zinc coated sheet, or aluminum alloy, providing a robust and corrosion-resistant structure.
* Fan: The core power component, commonly an AC (alternating current) or DC brushless (EC) fan, driving airflow.
* Filtration System: Includes a pre-filter and a HEPA/ULPA main filter, achieving a filtration efficiency of over 99.97% for 0.3µm particles, with some reaching 99.999%.
* Deflectors and Flow Equalization System: Ensure uniform airflow velocity at the outlet surface, reducing dead zones.

**Control unit: Supports multi-speed adjustment, stepless speed regulation or remote group control by computer, to achieve energy saving and intelligent management.

Features:

(1)The FFU housing can be made of stainless steel, aluminized zinc plate, cold-rolled steel plate with electrostatic powder coating, or aviation aluminum plate, offering an aesthetically pleasing design.

(2)The FFU housing and HEPA filter adopt a separate design, making installation and replacement of high-efficiency filters more convenient.

(3)The FFU fan uses an imported German EBM fan or a high-quality domestic fan, with a working time exceeding 60,000 hours.

(4)The FFU employs a unique air duct design, delivering air evenly at a velocity of 0.45 m/s across the entire outlet surface.

(5)The FFU features energy saving, centralized computer control, stable operation, low noise, and digital adjustment.

(6)FFUs can be used individually or connected in series to form a Class 100 assembly line, depending on process requirements.

(7)The new FFU is equipped with a liquid-sink HEPA filter, further ensuring sealing performance in demanding applications.

(8)The FFU's assembled fan features stable performance, low noise, low vibration, and stepless speed regulation.

Working Principle&Core Function:

The FFU (Fan Filter Unit) draws in air from the top, filters it through a pre-filter and a high-efficiency (or ultra-high-efficiency) filter, and then delivers clean air vertically downwards at a uniform airflow velocity of approximately 0.45 m/s ± 20%, forming a unidirectional laminar flow that effectively prevents contaminants from entering the work area. Its core function is to provide a continuous and stable supply of high-cleanliness air for cleanrooms, clean benches, and other microenvironments.

Application:

FFU fan filter units can be connected modularly. FFU fan filter units are widely used in clean rooms, clean operating tables, clean production lines, assembled clean rooms and local 100-level applications. FFU fan filter units can be used to make simple clean workbenches, clean sheds, clean transfer cabinets and clean storage cabinets.
